I experienced almost being banned from a forum because of spamming. What's ironic to me is it was a forum designed for the sake of helping others with different abilities. I been is a wheelchair 21 years so I assumed a forum for the different ability individuals was for me, until I promoted my CD. It seems I violated forum rules by telling others with different abilities I have a CD they can digitally download. The warning letter state I can tell people about my life and how I live each day. I ca share information about what's going on in the world of different ability and such. So my music isn't my life you're saying, my video editing, advocacy, message and seeking humanity in ourselves is as part of my life as telling others I'm selling my work. OK I agree, it is annoying when these Bots fill our mailboxes with crap, almost 50 messages a day of unwanted message that makes us overlook important mail. I'm using a forum of my peers to invite them to not only what I do as my passion but yes my survival also. It's your forum and you should run it as you wish, if selling my CD is a violation then yes I shouldn't promote it. Self-promotion is the hardest form of promoting I found. If I said, ''Yo, Nas got this song called Bully, that bump is tight. Check it out'' I just promoted Nas and our curiosity may draw us to getting it to see how tight it is. But if I say ''Yo, I just recorded this song, it's hot'' some consider that bragging. Self-promoting you have to be very careful on your wording or you can come off as spamming. So I agree and accept that the purpose of a forum is to share life changing issues, or what's happening in our world today. Create your own forum for your product or position but if you enter an outside forum be careful how you introduce yourself. The rules are already printed out before we join, I just don't read them, I just hit agree and K.I.M. to join. After that incident I got lost in advocating, I felt bringing information about spinal cord issue was Spamming to, so I lost my drive to share info. I am not the only person with a different ability, I have met some on forums that have nothing to do with spinal cord injury so if I'm blessed to meet doctors, scientist and politicians who are working to cure this situation, I shouldn't be afraid to share it. But also as an editor and artist, I thought sharing that would be ok as well. This in my second introduction to who is c5c7 or Professir X, I'm an evolved Obsession4ever yahoo club owner to a still Obsession lover, lol to an advocate for Spinal Cord Injury cure. I attended events and gather information about what os going on in the world. From sports, modeling, music , whatever that's going on, I seek info and share it. I hope my videos I share will inform and inspire others. Be prepared for a long list of things, places and people I met. Learn their story through me. I'll be as open and honest as possible.
