Description
Together, we are a unique group with diverse thoughts, opinions, and approaches to the topic of parenting with a disability.
- Some of us are interested in adopting as a person with a disability
- Others are already parents and would like to share their techniques and receive the support of others.
- Pregnancy concerns disability-specific or otherwise are also a topic rarely discussed related to our population.
- All of us face stereotypes related to parenting with a disabilty
I hope you'll join us for a gathering of resources, kiddie talk, and if we're lucky-some fun times together!
All opinions are openly welcomed here as long as they are expressed in a respectful way!
IMPORTANT: You do not need to be a parent to join and contribute to this group. I'm not a parent and started this group because I'm overwhelmed by both the options and obstacles that are involved with parenting for us.

I changed the name of the group to hopefully make it more clear that's not only for PARENTS with disabilities but it's about the topic.
