The 12th SATH World Congress for Travelers with Disabilities & the Mature was held in Orlando, FL at Disney's Contemporary Resort from January 6- January 8, 2008. It was a great event as people from around the world came to participate.
SATH, the Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality, is a non-profit organization devoted to raising awareness and removing barriers to travel for persons with disabilities. SATH members include travelers, travel professionals, and various businesses involved with the travel and hospitality industry.
The SATH World Congress provides a wide variety of sessions and educational panels on all aspects of travel related to the disability community. This is a great opportunity to discover more about how persons with disabilities can enjoy and prosper in their travel experiences.
