Hello Everyone,

My name is Salie. I am 16 years old & i am here so i can make new friends & help everyone out. I am a very caring, loving, compassionate & sweet young woman. I will do whatever it takes to make a person laugh, grin, smile ect. Even if that means making a fool out of myself.

I am a huge supporter of ALL disabilities. I want there to be a cure for every single one of them. No one deserves to have a disability and/or to suffer.

I am also a huge supporter of guide/service/assisted dogs. I am so glad so many people can benefit from them. They are the best.

I have a golden retriever of my own & shes the best thing in my life.

Disability Description: Quadriplegic is when you injury your spinal cord above a certain level. Some Quad's are on a ventalitor, some are not & ect.

How has your disability changed your life...for better or worse?:

Having a friend who is a Quadriplegic, no legs, no hips, blind in one eye & not making much progress makes me feel extremly lucky cause in a split second i could be just like him. He is just amazing.

Having a friend with any disability (Spina Bifida, Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome ect ect) makes me feel lucky cause i don't have to go through what they do in order to have a good life. I myself just have a stills heart murmor (not fatal thankfully) & leg difference.  So it has changed me for the better.

How have you overcome obstacles?:

Jon (who is my friend that is a quadriplegic) overcomes obstacles by being himself, trying very hard, having me as his friend, praying & by believing in God.

What are your dreams...for yourself and your peers?:

My dreams are:

1. Help find a cure for all disabilities

2. Stop all Abuse

3. Build a house for homeless disabled people (i will welcome any age/race/sex & disability. It will be totally wheelchair accessible.)

I just want everyone in the world to be happy & i want there to be peace (not war).

I will do whatever it takes to make someone happy, smile, laugh, grin ect.
